Terraced Ltd designs, builds and publishes its own apps on the App Store. We do not take client work. We pick one small job that people already do badly on paper, and we build the app that does it properly. Each app is bought once, keeps your data on your device, and shows you no adverts.

How We Build
One job, done properly, in a native app that feels like it belongs on the device.
1. Research Before We Build
We never start with an idea we like. We start with evidence that people want it and that nobody has already done it well.
- Real Demand: We read what people actually complain about, in their own words, before a line of code is written.
- Honest Scoring: Every idea is scored on demand, competition and whether anyone pays. Most ideas are killed here.
- Written Record: Rejected ideas are written down with the reason, so we never rebuild a bad case twice.
2. Native iOS Craft
Every app is written in Swift and SwiftUI for Apple devices. No wrappers, no web pages pretending to be apps.
- Native Swift: Built with Apple's own tools, so the app is fast and feels right.
- Works Offline: Your data lives on your device. The app does not need a signal to be useful.
- Accessible: Large text, VoiceOver and dark mode are tested, not an afterthought.
How We Sell
You buy the app. You are not the product, and you are not a subscriber.
3. Fair Pricing
We think renting software you use alone is wrong. So our apps are bought once, and priced for the country you live in.
- Pay Once: A logbook is not worth renting. You pay one time and you keep it.
- Priced By Country: Poorer countries pay less for the same app. This is company policy, in writing.
- No Adverts: We sell apps, not attention.
4. Every Market
We specialize in creating and connecting systems to automate your workflows and enhance your capabilities.
- 175 Countries: Our apps are on sale in every App Store territory Apple offers.
- Properly Translated: We localise the whole app, not just the buttons, and we check it reads naturally.
- Local Search Words: We measure the words people search in each language, rather than translating English ones.

An app that ships is not finished. It is the first version.
5. Our Own Tools
We build the tools we need ourselves, because the ones we could buy did not measure the right things.
- Search Word Scanner: We measure App Store search words before we use them, so an app can be found.
- Translation Toolkit: We built our own kit to catch text that would otherwise ship in English by mistake.
- Measured, Not Guessed: Every launch is measured. When a number is bad, we find the cause and write it down.
6. Support
We keep every app we publish working, and we answer the people who use it ourselves.
- Kept Current: Apps are updated for each new version of iOS, at no extra cost.
- A Real Person Replies: Write to us and you reach the person who built the app.
- Your Data Is Yours: You can export it, and you can delete it.
